AVRA JAIN a redevelopment wonder who has taken Miami by storm with exquisite style and entrepreneurial know-how . Since arriving in Florida 14 years ago, the California native, has been responsible for fashionable Miami developments such as the Vagabond Hotel, Regalia, Rail 71, Miami River Inn , among others. Passionate about MiMo, historical preservation, and the development of neighborhood properties, she is currently focusing her efforts on re-vamping neighborhoods such as Little Haiti and Little River.
MOISHE MANA known for developing Mana Contemporary (2011), a one million square foot cultural center into a former 1920’s manufacturing building located in Jersey City, NJ. The center provides services, spaces and programming for artists, collectors, performers, students and community. Over the past 5 years, Mana has embarked on large scale urban redevelopment plans for Wynwood and Miami. The Historic District of downtown Miami has primarily been dominated by commercial buildings and activity. Mana plans to create a new vibrant destination with retail, restaurants and residential components to revitalize the area.

OLIVIA RAMOS (PROFESSOR)
Olivia Ramos is an inventor and architect residing in Miami, Florida, founder of Panhaptic software and Mental Rhythms applications, co-founder of Work Untitled Magazine and Citybiom. Her software practice began during a residency with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in 2012. She also participated as artist in residency at Cannonball Miami, developing emotional data gathering applications. Olivia holds a Masters in Architecture from Columbia University and a Masters in Real Estate Development & Urbanism from the University of Miami.
McKenzie's in-house architecture team is comprised of architects and designers that work alongside all of our build and craft services. The Design team is the first stop for a design-build project that a client wants McKenzie to take on. We ensure that as we explore designs for client projects that we also integrate cost and feasibility analysis into the process. Our Construction team speaks design, and our Design team speaks construction.
BiomFAU is a graduate level course taught by Olivia Ramos, in which each individual student will formulate a structure that functions off the grid. Collectively, imagining an infrastructure that communicates with buildings through data, rethinking and reestablishing the way architecture is designed. Focus will be given to the development of an innovative architectural prototype from systems that produce resources and are autonomous through the synthesis of financial analysis, research, development and technology.
